Well, I have finally arrived in Orvieto...my stay for the next 6 nights...I am loving this hill town already...wait till you see the photo's...it is also going to be nice to be able to spend some time in the company of others...and one's who speak English!
The convent is lovely and the rooms quite modern...I have the most beautiful view over the countryside...and the windows are letting a glorious breeze...something I have missed the past days in Rome.
Well, I think I will head out and have a bit of an explore...we meet for introductions at around 6pm before heading out for dinner...am looking forward to experiencing my first Umbrian meal. Ciao. Lisa
